We finally got to officially ride the Eastern Distributor, which is apparently private property or some such legal fiction. Your government has kindly offered to pay, not just for the road, but compensation to the owner whenever anything bad happens. That includes us, so we're not supposed to ride on it. But eventually we were permitted, just this once.
On the way, we went to the start of the Alexandria Canal, where they're apparently thinking of putting a cycleway and park and stuff. It's close to the top end of the distributor, and one of the current projects for many Massers.
Someone asked me to put the full size images up on the web, I suspect because Dave was on his bike at last. But anyway, be warned that the large images are a bit over 300kB each. That's at least 40s on a 56k modem per image. The smaller ones are up on the Sydney Critical Mass web site (somewhere).
