Photos of union people for a guy in the US. Comments are my views (as you might expect).
Despite being a member of the AMWU I don't really get on that well with some of the stuff they do (or don't do). But then I'm a militant Green in a "soft right" union, who are under the thumbscrews of the right wing inside the NSW Labour party (the so-called "left wing" of Australian politics). There's apparently a chance that some of the unions might move from the Labour party to the Greens, which I think would be great.
I was delighted to find this guy in the AMWU T-shirt ... he bought it from a second hand clothing shop. Anyway, no really good photos because there were no unions there that I really wanted to pay attention to, sorry. As far as I know the CFMEU weren't there, but you'd need to find out from the organisers, AFTINET.
