Trisled Factory

I went to a BBQ at the TriSled" factory and had a bit of a look around.

Map of the factory location (taken so I could use it to navigate) Hanging out talking and looking at the toys The barbeque - luckily Ben had disconnected the smoke alarm Makka preparing for another run at the power record Ben's demountable trike and coupling. The assembly stand and admirers. One of the survivors of a 24 hour race. And some people. Inside a faired trike. I can actually fit in there and ride it - I'm about 185cm tall, 85kg. Or 77kg on Ben's scales. A customer getting the photo display happening. We saw lots of Trisled photos, and the Battle Mountain videos. Ben's low racer. Very nice - apparently only weighs about 9kg (20 lbs). A bit short and light for me, as with everything Ben makes for his own use. Ken's Birdy folder in the background - I rode that the 28km to the factory... very slowly. Chris on the low racer, which is more his size. He pulled 10.5 W/kg compared to my 9.5, but my absolute power was higher because I'm 10kg heavier. Did I say low racer? Ben briefing us on what's up with Trisled. Fairings hanging on the wall. Ben has a power meter rigged up on this bike. So we all played with it. Or the remains of it after someone destroyed half the wind trainer by going too fast. Hence the angst about watts per kilogramme, which is what counts for speed records apparently.
